HISTORY

Dr. Abigail Reising graduated from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 with a focus and a passion for equine medicine and reproduction. Upon graduating, Dr. Reising participated in an equine sports medicine internship in Lexington, Kentucky and then an equine internal medicine fellowship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute also in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Reising has treated a variety of breeds and enjoys working with all types of horses from the elite athletes on the track to backyard family pets. Her lifelong goal of owning her own equine practice has finally come true. Dr. Reising looks forward to servicing equine patients and meeting their owners in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana.

In the near future, Dr. Reising will begin acupuncture certification as she also has a strong interest in this area of equine practice. Dr. Reising is a member of the AAEP, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, USEF, UPHA, and American Saddlebred Horse Show Association. From veterinary medicine, Abby enjoys riding her horses as well as camping, fishing, going to concerts, and traveling.
